Looking ahead in 2025, we are optimistic about our Services, Training, and Products departments. We believe a renewed emphasis on growing American manufacturing to strengthen domestic supply chains, combined with efforts in workforce development and price stabilization, will bolster the electronics industry and create exciting new growth opportunities.
Challenges of supply chain disruptions, rising prices, and political uncertainty created a difficult 2024 for many companies. These issues led to a soft market, significant layoffs, and price sensitivity for many. At BEST Inc., we responded by focusing on how we can provide additional value to our customers during these trying times. We expanded some of our service lines, improved efficiencies, and drove down costs.
BEST is focusing on expanding our services department in anticipation of industry changes. With potential tariffs on foreign chips looming, we see component salvage and refinishing services becoming an option for many customers.
We recently launched our lead-tinning services and expect demand to grow in the coming months. Our Mobile Training Center continues to provide a convenient option for onsite training, helping customers strengthen and expand their workforce. Additionally, we have observed steady growth at our training facility in Lansing, Michigan, which opened in early 2024.
