VIEWPOINT 2025: Ralf Schwartz, CEO, Peters

VIEWPOINT 2025: Ralf Schwartz, CEO, Peters

After coping very well with the sharp global downturn of the last two years, not only in PCB production, but also in Electronic Manufacturing Services, we are well equipped for the upswing. Unfortunately, it is not yet clear whether this will happen in 2025.

Two PCB manufacturers will soon be starting series production with our solder resist using the new digital inkjet printing process. Special printing strategies create unimagined technical options for designers and layouters; these now need to be worked out together with the end users. For the increasing requirements of high-voltage and high-temperature applications, we offer intelligent solutions; for these solutions Artificial Intelligence had not been employed to date.

We are not experiencing any bottlenecks for raw materials and production goods, but we are constantly engaged in the search for raw material alternatives that are physiologically favourable. Now we are curious to see which geopolitical frame conditions lie ahead of us; the world is in constant flux. We remain confident!
