VIEWPOINT 2024: Mark Kannenberg, CEO, North American Electronics Division, RBP Chemical Technology
As for our plans for 2024, RBP Chemical Technology is committed to innovation and will be launching new products and services to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We understand the importance of staying ahead in a competitive market and will continue to invest in research and development. The supply chain disruptions that plagued 2023 were indeed challenging. To mitigate these issues in 2024, our team has been working diligently to diversify our supplier base and enhance inventory management. By partnering with International Electronic Components (IEC) in the USA and Canada, we aim to ensure just-in-time delivery for our customers, thereby minimizing disruptions. Hiring skilled workers remains a persistent challenge for our industry. To address this, we believe in fostering partnerships with veterans, educational institutions, vocational training centers, and industry associations to develop and nurture the talent pool. Collaboration across the industry is crucial to address this skill gap collectively. In conclusion, while 2024 presents economic challenges, the strong partnership between RBP Chemical Technology and IEC positions us well to navigate these uncertainties and provide growth opportunities for both companies. We are committed to delivering innovative solutions and superior service to our mutual customers.
