VIEWPOINT 2025: Stan Renals, CEO, Cobar Europe & Cobar Solder Products
Electronica was an opportunity to show the market place our new range of Regi fluxes and our JEAN 151 solder paste which is now making an impact at many of our customers and is being accepted as a bench mark for industry standards. This flux type JEAN 151 is unique as it is being used commonly with different alloys and particle sizes up to T5, hence negating the need to approve a different flux material for every alloy. Our R&D team based in Balve, Germany continue to develop a range of new products, some of which is now making an impact in the market such as our Regi range of fluxes, the latest being our Regi Gold a high performance flux, which we believe will be the “Go To” flux of the future for most applications. Our USA division continues to grow positively and now manufactures 95% of all Balver Zinn products out of USA and Mexico. We are expanding further into Asia with another production site to service China and S.E. Asia. We are starting to see a gradual pick up in business in USA/Mexico and Asia but in Europe we see growth being slow through the first quarter maybe beyond in 2025.
